Social Activities

At Hart Heritage Estates, we try to maintain an “active” lifestyle for our residents, by providing a variety of activities for seniors in assisted living. With two engaging Activity Coordinators who work together to plan activities and events that complement one another—there is something for everyone. Some of our activities include arts and crafts, movie night, cooking club, bingo, and other competitive games, as well as outdoor gardening and exercise. We also provide the opportunity for weekly religious services.

We schedule weekly appearances by local talent who provide live singing and music. The Silver Reader Program, sponsored by the Harford County Public Library, is ongoing and is a favorite of many residents—making library staff and media available at Presbyterian Home Of Maryland & Hart Heritage Estates for checkout. For those who are “online” and need access to the information highway, we have a computer center with internet access ready to enlighten. Other special events include ice cream socials and holiday parties.
Many of these activities are carefully designed to stimulate physical and mental acuity while offering plenty of opportunities for social interaction and enjoyment! The result is a wide variety of stimulating activities and programs for our residents to enjoy.

With a lineup of activities, events, and outings, it’s easy to forget that we deliver the latest in assisted living with 24-hour in-room motion detection, 24/7 video security, spacious dining areas, outdoor picnic facilities, private dining for special occasions, walk-in beautician services, and helpful staff to complete your experience.

For those who desire it, we also offer in-room cable, telephone, and internet service, as well as daily newspaper delivery.
