“Dear Friends, Jim and I would like to thank everyone for the care and attention you gave to his dad for the last 8 months of his life. He was treated with kindness and respect by everyone and for that we are truly grateful. We also appreciate the beautiful flowers you sent. Take care, Jim & Julie Soutar.”

“Words cannot express my gratitude for caring for Viola for the nearly 2 1/2 years she was with you! As many of you know she was certainly very difficult at times and as you become familiar with her personality, she could make you laugh! As difficult as she was, I will miss her and I hope she has found happiness! She was unfortunately defined by the grief that had come from loosing her son 16 years ago and I pray that they are now reunited. You are all very special and the job that you do is so very important! Thank you!”

“On behalf of the family of Daniel O. Caulk, we would like to personally thank you and praise all of you, for the exceptional care you provided for our father the past several years. Before taking residence with Hart Heritage, Dan was residing at Oak Crest. When his needs required constant assistance we searched three or more facilities before visiting Hart Heritage. Our first impression was wonderful. In time we realized this was the best we could do for Dad. Everyone, from the administration, health and personal care as well as the kitchen, cleaning and maintenance staff were always considerate, caring and friendly. A real feeling of family, friendship, and sincerity to the care of others, in our opinion was unsurpassed. Also, we would like to acknowledge wound care specialist Ms. Donna Baker, Dr. Alfred Sparks and the hospice care from Amedisys for their care in times of additional comfort and needs. Please use these words as a testimonial to the highest quality, care, concern, and dignity that your exceptional facility provided to our father. In closing, we wish you all the best for many years to come in the care of other loved ones. ‘Caring for people in need is the greatest human compassion that can be bestowed on oneself, and ALL of you should be proud of what you do for the loved ones of others!”

“Our mother, Roberta Goodwin, was a resident at your Forest Hill facility from July 2015 until her passing on April 1, 2016. From the first day to her last, the compassionate care, communications, consideration, and comfort provided by everyone on staff were exemplary. We couldn’t have asked for more timely attention as she struggled during the past two weeks. She was treated with extreme dignity and respect. Visiting family members were also kept well informed and comforted during that time. You have a wonderful team of people, and we were very fortunate to have them assist our mother. We will readily recommend Hart Heritage to anyone in need of assisted living care.”

“I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how great your staff was to sit with my dad Frank Wible. While he was dying last Sunday morning I arrived around 7:15 to find the night staff sitting around him. You could tell they were visibly upset when he passed around 7:45. I enjoyed hearing some of the “Frankie” stories. They were all caring and comforting. They stayed beyond their shift to make sure he was taken care of with love and dignity. I just wanted to take the time to thank them and let you know what a great team you have. Thank you for the time he had at Hart Heritage and the care he received till the very end.”
~ Sherrie Maners, daughter of their “Frankie”
“Thank you for the beautiful flower arrangement that you sent for my mom Cathy Foster to St. Jude’s Church. A heart shaped arrangement . . . So beautiful! Just as the loving beautiful care you gave my mom. You are all wonderful angels of mercy. We honored you at mass and said that your comfort to our mom and family was so incredible, we could never thank you enough. Thank you for your care and for the lovely flowers. You are incredible!”

“We want to thank you so much to all of you who so lovingly took care of my dad while residing there, and continue to care for my mother. From delivering the newspaper, meals and preparing them, caring and keeping their physical needs met, administering their medications, housekeeping, laundry and for visiting a few minutes to engage in conversation. So much you give to others, what would the families do without ALL of you!? Our sincere and heartfelt thanks!”

“Our family understands that facilities like Hart Heritage are designed to take care of people that they or their families are no longer safely qualified to take care of them. We put our love ones in your care in hopes that they are treated with the best possible care and dignity that is offered.
It was very gracious of the staff to let Kiyoko and her hubby sit in the dining room so she could eat her sushi. They always made her the special green tea she liked to drink with her sushi. At night I know that they would prepare her special Japanese snack for her that was provided for her by her hubby. This was very kind and considerate to Kiyoko knowing they did not have to go out of their way to accommodate Kyoko.
Near the end when Kyoko started her journey to heaven even though she showed no signs of consciousness the staff treated her with such compassion. They talked to her and I even witnessed a few of the staff give her a kiss which made us feel like she was one of their own family members. We know Kyoko loved them and would always say how nice the staff was.
We were very grateful for the meals, snacks and drinks that were provided while the family waited for her to close her earthly eyes and open her heavenly eyes. The accommodations that were made in her room so the family could be there with her were very much appreciated.
Our family would like to thank the staff of Hart Heritage for your excellent care of Kyoko. It is hard to leave your loved one in someone’s care not knowing the outcome. The kindness of the staff went well beyond their obligations. Near the end of Kyoko’s journey the staff treated her and the family so well. We know she wasn’t in pain and was kept comfortable until she completed her journey.
We also feel that Hart Heritage was the best place for Kiyoko and never had one concern about her care while she stayed there. Even her last days on earth we feel that the staff treated Kiyoko with compassion, empathy and kindness and was deeply appreciated by her family and will always remember that Kiyoko was at the best place she could be.
Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for the care that Kiyoko received at Hart Heritage.”
